Many of these designs look finished and might be. But as long as the sculpture is in my possession and I perceive the possibility for improvement, I make the change. I've made changes to work that seemed finished for years. The designs pictured might also be made of a less desirable material or one that is not permanent. Allowing time for development of a composition is a luxury many artists don't take advantage of but I enjoy doing it.
